While walking through I was wondering where her work was when I came across a room which housed this amazing work of art. I was entranced and started shooting. Then when I turned to ask who the work was by I was further surprised to find that it was exactly what I had been invited to see. My next happy coincidence was that Fannie was actually there so I was able to photograph her too. She told me that the inspiration for her work stemmed from a crystal she had found in a small shop in NY. From it grew the SciFi / Blade Runner theme of her pieces. Then mix it with a trip to Tokyo in the summer and here is the result. She also had smaller pieces at the show on the back of which she had worked in <a href="http://www.swarovski.com/Web_GB/en/index">Swarovski</a> crystals and in doing so takes us right back the source of her initial idea.

She was very gracious and happy to chat. Her own style is based on her changing feelings and ranges from Rock to Classic. Her mum makes most of her clothes for her and she loves to wear her designs. The coat Simona is wearing was made by her mum. Then she likes to add hats and scarfs to add glamour to make a really beautiful look. Her surprising revelation is that she was at one time ranked 3rd in Serbia for Fencing. We spoke about the grace and beauty of the sport, she told me she had always done ballet as well and it mixes very well with the fencing. Now she is able to combine the grace and poise both disciplines have given her to her modeling.

It was the 1st show were I turned up and everyone was in already having a party. He had laid on food, drink and music and everyone was happy before the show had even started. And when it did it made us happier still. It was a lovely show with a great colour palette of purples, neutrals, red and white. My favourite is the top right hand purple dress. I love the colour and the drapery, very feminine and flattering.

She said that confidence is the most important thing. When you have confidence you can wear anything. I couldn't agree more. I spotted her as he was sitting having coffee and couldn't resist asking if I could photograph her. She was surprised but said yes. What I didn't know at the time was that I had interrupted a meeting she was having with a film director, for <a href="http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ruby+balthazar&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a">Ruby</a> is a full-time model, trained actress, art director and stylist. She was discussing a short film she wants to make with the director but had just graciously taken time out for me. She has already produced a short film called 'In one drop ink you can make the world think.' The short film she is putting together this time will be a fashion active film, a huge performance with lots of people on stage. She told me she has produced a few fashion shows before but never until now for film.<br />She bought her glasses in Camden, her T is from <a href="http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/worldwide">Zara</a> and she has her hair cut at <a href="http://www.sanrizz.co.uk/">Sanrizz</a>.<br /><br />I have made it through to the Vogue Photo blog shortlist.
