I had gone there to see the <a href="http://timwalkerphotography.com/" target="_blank">Tim Walker</a> exhibition, which was amazing. <a href="http://blog.mulberry.com/category/tim-walker/" target="_blank">Story Teller</a> is the perfect name for his new book. He certainly is a master story teller. I cannot tell you how much I love his work. He is by far my favourite living photographer. If you are in London you should pop along. <a href="http://www.somersethouse.org.uk/visual-arts/tim-walker-story-teller" target="_blank">The exhibition</a> also incorporates props from his shoots and the images are not only on the walls but also displayed in packing crates amongst the props - see below and on Instagram @Fashionistable for a taste of what to expect. I am going back. It was also lovely to see the beautiful majestic expanse of <a href="http://www.somersethouse.org.uk/" target="_blank">Somerset House</a> without an event going on in the courtyard. During the fashion weeks I heard her say that people had been saying unkind things about her for although she has a vintage ethos she had been wearing a lot of new designer clothing. Her reply to her critics was that if someone like <a href="http://www.dolcegabbana.com/" target="_blank">Dolce and Gabbana</a> ask you to wear their clothing you are not going to turn them down are you. I certainly wouldn't. Anyone who knows me knows I have been taking pictures of <a href="http://peonylim.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Peony</a> for years now. And is no surprise she is a darling of the fashion editors as well the photographers. She is always beautifully turned out and it is always a treat to see what she is wearing each day. And to top it all off she is a real sweetheart too. Everyone gets separated after the shows for one reason or another and at some point you need to find your friends. Or the rush is on to get to the next show and find (if you are lucky enough to have one) your driver. How on earth did we survive in the past without iPhone or Blackberry? Mostly the girls are looking for their friends. From the shots above I was able to direct Elisa to hers without her trying any further to get through. In some ways the phone can also be used as a defence mechanism, used as a barrier to try and keep the constant bombardment of photographers at bay. It can't be easy being photographed all the time.

Which do you prefer? I shot <a href="http://www.joujouvilleroy.com/" target="_blank">Eleonora</a> at <a href="http://www.fashionistable.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/out-and-about-london-fashion-week.html" target="_blank">London</a>, <a href="http://www.vogue.co.uk/spy/street-chic/2012/milan-fashion-week-ss13/gallery/33" target="_blank">Milan</a> and Paris fashion weeks. You have already had a glimpse of this shoot on Instagram. Eleonora kindly stepped to the side with me so I could take these pictures. Another photographer sneaked up behind and she told them off which was so sweet of her. I can't tell you how many times I had set up shots and others just stepped in. To the point where they tell me off saying it is not my shot. If I have time I will wait until the interloper has taken their shot and when they have finished I will continue to, or move location to get my shot. It really depends on the situation and how well the person I am shooting knows me. In this shot the lovely Eleonora is wearing a beautiful <a href="http://www.albertaferretti.com/en" target="_blank">Alberta Ferretti</a> dress and looks very Hollywood in it.
