The 40's is their favourite period and they met at a 40's style evening. Hadley is a beautiful English rose, she looks so delicate and I love the red cue's in her look. Chiko is Israeli and has been living here for 10 years which he says has passed very quickly. It is amazing he is the 1st Israeli I have photographed and just before I head off there myself. Look out soon for shots from my trip. I like the way Chiko wears his hat nonchalantly to the side. Hadley is and a fashion designer and Chiko is a photographer. They are both working on their websites at the moment when they are ready I will blog them again and give you all the links.

The white hat with the black suit had caught my attention. I was was wearing a tight straight skirt and was thinking even if I run I will never catch up with this guy. Then as luck would have it the pavement was up on his side of the road was up and he had to wait for traffic so he could cross which gave me the time I needed to catch up. Dressed like this Jonathan has a classic Hollywood 40's 50's look about him. So it wasnt too surprising to find out that he is a model with <a href="http://www.stormmodels.com/JonathanWoodward.html?boardId=1006">Storm</a>. I he looked so couldnt resist sharing more than one shot with you today.

She made her own bag and although she did not make her the coat she was wearing (it is by Sophie Mason-Still on the Lancaster Rd, W11 - those sleeves are a great alternative to gloves) said the clothing she makes echos this style. She had been walking with a stick but did not want to be photographed with it. She said she was only using it on doctors orders as she had been knocked down by a truck a few weeks back and was still recovering..... Then she told <a href="http://thatsnotmyage.blogspot.com/">TNMA </a>and I who was with me at the time her story. The trim on her coat had belonged to her great grandmother who had come from the Imperial Russian court which fell a year before Beatrice was born. When we asked her if she had ever worked and she replied that her father who had been in the Diplomatic Corps would never have allowed her to, that in those days ladies didn't work. Mind you that didn't mean she wasn't busy at home both before and after when she got married. She had 3 houses to run and 2 children to look after. Her husband had worked for Beecham (I now wonder if he had any connection to the Smith Klien side of the company). She said he had died 3 years ago and she was now alone. When we said sorry she said not to be that although she had loved her husband that after 60 years of marriage she was now kicking her heels up. She no longer has to cook, clean or do the laundry and was enjoying herself. Well that made us smile. She now has the freedoms we all take for granted in the modern age (my husband cooks, someone else cleans and I do the laundry), I hope she lives healthily in the time she has left to continue kicking her heels up.

I am going to find some nice people with even a hint of snow.<br />Spencer just oozes timeless elegance. He was very laid back, at ease and at home in his look and style. He wears it very well. Spencer sells ladies fashion in the <a href="http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/">House of Fraser</a>. For his own look though he told me that everything he wears is from charity shops. He obviously has a very good eye. Although it is hard to see here his tie pin was a beautiful jade face which is antique from the late 19th early 20th century.

His sweater and trousers are from <a href="http://www.uniqlo.co.uk/">Uniqlo</a>, and check out those fantastic <a href="http://www.viviennewestwood.com/flash.php">Vivienne Westwood</a> gloves. I love the red, black and purple combination of colours very bold and self assured.

Good food, good company, good entertainment, pipers and champagne at midnight and dancing til dawn (well almost).<br />I wanted to start the New Year off with a splash of red for luck and prosperity for you all and Janice does this beautifully in her gorgeous red hat. Sadly she couldn't remember who it was by I would love one the same. Her red gloves she had borrowed from her mum and her bag is vintage <a href="http://www.chanel.com/">Chanel</a>. Janice is from Hong Kong and is here in the UK visiting her boyfriend for the festive season.
