He was going to an interview about promoting his own designs which, is why he told me, he was suited and booted. He has obviously decided to used his newly gained degree wisely. For his interview he has chosen to wear an ASOS suit, Ben Sherman shirt, vintage DM's and briefcase. When I asked what his surprise was he said he dresses for a big city but lives in a small town. He was very excited about showing his work and was looking out for one of his models while I was shooting. Next up he is hoping for a place at the RCA to do an MA. His surprise for us was that he loves music and loves to smile. I wish them both success. He is wearing a suit he bought in a charity shop on Berwick Street. He cut off the trousers and added the shiny detail on the collar.. His T is from H&M and shoes are Topman. Now, I wouldn't ordinarily say OK to white socks on a guy (unless he was playing sport) but I think I have found an exception with this look.

London has been preparing for weeks now for the <a href="http://www.thediamondjubilee.org/">Queens Diamond Jubilee</a> celebrations and I am sure this is also being played out in towns and villages across the UK. There are Union Jacks everywhere. I will be out and about on the Sunday and Tuesday it will be such a historic long weekend and am really looking forward to it. If you are in the UK what are you up to? All you guys from around the world will you be watching on the telly? I thought the pictures of Ben were the prefect way to kick of this great weekend for us. See what I mean about the Union Jacks. Ben is an Interiors Consultant and is originally from Middlesbrough. He is however on the move again as his surprise was that he was about to hand in his resignation and go traveling around S. America for 4 months starting with Belize. His style influence is eclectic East London, it is also his favourite place in London. To continue our very British theme he is wearing an <a href="http://www.alexandermcqueen.com/alexandermcqueen/en_US">Alexander McQueen</a> coat - isn't the detailing wonderful. But was amazed when Yonan crossed my path she was perfect for this. The colours she was wearing perfectly compliment this <a href="http://www.filofax.co.uk/">Filofax</a>. Yonan is from a region in China called Tsingtao which she told me is also the name of her nations favourite beer. Her style influence is taken from paintings. With Van Gough being her favourite painter. Her surprise was that she lives almost like a monk, she is a vegetarian and doesnt drink or smoke. However unlike a monk she does have sex. Yonan is wearing vintage <a href="http://www.dior.com/file/prehome_new/index.html">Dior </a>glasses, her shirt and bowtie are also vintage, shorts and belt are <a href="http://store.americanapparel.co.uk/?kw=american%20apparel&key=american+apparel+mt;SEARCH+lp;Brand+Rg;UK+FID;6230">American Apparel</a>, tights are from <a href="http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TopCategoriesDisplay?storeId=12556&catalogId=33057">Topshop</a> and her shoes are <a href="http://catalogue.adidas.com/catalogue/com/product/G43776/JS-WINGS-Synthetic-%28TRANSLUCENT%29">Adidas</a>.

Out and about....Paris Fashion Week, they came they went

Amazingly there was space for us all to shoot from the hip and on your own, except for the guy with the camera in the distance in my 1st shot, who we all had to try and avoid as he happily put himself in the middle of all the other photographers shots and then blamed us for ruining his! She is also working on her website and when it is ready you will be able to see her work <a href="http://martabitute.com/">here.</a> To make it all possible she is also working part-time at <a href="http://www.isseymiyake.com/">Issey Miyake</a>. Busy lady. Her own design influence mainly stems from music. It creates a mood and allows her to see colour and shape. The people who influence her most are <a href="http://www.adam-ant.net/">Adam Ant</a> (whom she says she knows), Madonna and John Galliano. Marta is half Russian and half Lithuanian, but has been in London now for 3 years. Her favourite place in London is the <a href="http://www.vam.ac.uk/">V&A</a>. Her coat is by Trussardi (I think). What looks like is a scarf is actually a <a href="http://www.isseymiyake.com/">Issey Miyake</a> cardy. She couldn't remember where her tights were from. Accessory wise her earrings are <a href="http://www.dior.com/file/prehome_new/index.html">Dior</a>, shoes are <a href="http://www.russellandbromley.co.uk/">Russell and Bromley</a> and her bag is Italian.
